Planning & Zoning

Mission Statement:

Planning and Zoning seeks the health, safety, peace, convenience and general welfare of the inhabitants of Ammon by implementing orderly growth and development that fosters a wholesome, serviceable and attractive city. We strive to promote good provisions for economy, transportation and industry, while still protecting the unique people and assets of the region.

The Planning & Zoning Department is responsible for:

• Zoning Ordinances which establish guidelines for individual property uses and setbacks
• Maintaining the Zoning Map
• Assisting in implementing the Comprehensive Plan
• Comprehensive Plan Map
