Electrical Inspection

Jane Shaw is the electrical inspector for Ammon City. She is responsible for the inspection of all residential and commercial electrical installations and electrical plan review.

Any person contracting electrical work in the City of Ammon must be a licensed electrical contractor with the State of Idaho. Anyone performing electrical installations in the City of Ammon must be a licensed journeyman electrician or apprentice electrician with the State of Idaho. All State of Idaho Department of Building Safety rules and regulations apply to individuals doing work in the City of Ammon. If you are found in violation of any of these rules or regulations, the City of Ammon Electrical Inspector will contact the State of Idaho and inform them of the violation. Civil penalties may be imposed on the offending individual by the State of Idaho.
